VDTA – SDTA 2017 Convention

We proudly exhibited at the annual VDTA/SDTA Conference featuring our 2017 VDTA theme – Leadership and welcomed customers and visitors to Booth 319, offering a private meeting room with refreshments.  The colors and layout of the booth reflected the design of the newly completed Plastiflex website. A wall graphic depicting the global reach of the company highlighted the corporate headquarters, R&D, Plant locations and Sales offices around the world. 

A new addition to the booth was a functioning central vacuum system. The system was installed to display the functionality of our NEW retractable (RET) hose for the in-the-wall hose storage systems. The RET hose is manufactured with an over-molded cuff that is designed to mate directly with the handle without any adapter! Additional benefits to the over-molded cuff is that it prevents cuff failure or breakage from the hose which is critical when using an in-the-wall hose storage system. The RET hose was finished off with our signature knitted Vacsoc® hose cover (charcoal color) to present a premium finish as well as to demonstrate the graceful retraction speed of the RET hose into the system.

On display from the 2016 launch was the Valueflex hose. The ValueFlex hose is positioned as an entry level offering to differentiate from the current premium “Preferred” hose, offering our customers a choice. It is a light-weight alternative from our Preferred hose and is also manufactured with reclaimed plastics. Valueflex is quickly gaining market acceptance and we were excited to display it once again.

This year we are launching a metalized finish to the Original Vacpan. The new product named Vacpan Décor maintains the same high performance standards as the Original Vacpan which is known as a proven product in the industry. The metalized finish compliments the stainless steel and black stainless steel finish of household appliances. Along with the product comes a new logo which was on display for everyone to see.
