Together with a retrofittable piece of hardware, the new app ecosystem collects live updates on when, where and how long a vacuum cleaner is used. “This unique data will give cleaning professionals advanced insights and enable them to make better decisions that will lead to a healthier building environment”, says Dirk Tuip, CEO of FacilityApps. The new app ecosystem is an important step in advancing Internet of Things solutions for the commercial cleaning industry.
Plastiflex realized early on that they needed an experienced partner to help create the new solution. “The area of Internet of Things is relatively new, fast growing and developing.
